Together with &ranj I worked on a new app for the Dutch bank Rabobank called PinPin!
PinPin is a cute little augmented reality penguin who helps young kids learn about (and regulate) their savings!
I did the character concept of PinPin himself. The final 3D model ended up looking slightly different, but the spirit is there. Hello PinPin!

To be sure we got the look of the character just right, I worked closely together with &ranj in exploring the many possible ways a cartoon penguin could look like.
For the merchandise, extra characters were designed to give PinPin some friends. Originally I wanted all the animals to be from the same 'icy' habitat, but the client preferred a more tropical approach.
